Norma Sue Clemens, 85
Norma Sue Clemens, known affectionately as Sue, went to be home with her Lord Jesus on Aug. 28, 2024, in Sandpoint, Idaho, at the age of 85.
Born on July 16, 1939, in Newark, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Mary Brooks and sister to the late Edwin Brooks.
She began her career as a flight attendant, a role she cherished until she dedicated herself to family life after marriage. She was a devoted wife to Jack Clemens and a loving mother to her daughters, Kelley, Jill and Heidi. Sue’s love extended to her grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Jackson, Noah, Michaela, Jalyn, Isaiah, Mariah, Katelyn and Hannah; and her great-grandchildren, Layla and Luca.
Described by those who knew her as having a servant’s heart, Sue always prioritized the needs of others above her own. Her commitment to service was evident through her active volunteer work at her church and her efforts to assist the less fortunate in her community. Sue was a member of Cabinet Mountain Calvary Chapel and North Summit Church, where she found spiritual fulfillment and community.
A service to honor Sue’s life will be held at Cabinet Mountain Calvary Chapel in Clark Fork, Idaho, on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 11 a.m.
Sue’s legacy of love, service, and devotion will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
