Dim your high beams when not necessary
The day before Thanksgiving I drove to the Spokane Airport leaving Sandpoint at 1:30 a.m. to catch a 5 a.m. flight and I was periodically blinded by people who drove in oncoming traffic with their high-beam bright lights on unnecessarily.
I see a lot of rigs raised up in the air but the owners forgot to adjust their headlights after spending money to raise up their rigs as well as vehicles towing trailers or trucks with a large load in the bed.
I think it should be a law that all vehicles be required to have their headlights adjusted when they register their vehicle. Maybe even ticket people who constantly drive with their high-beam headlights on. It would be great if some smart car dealer or garage owner offered to adjust people's headlights at a very low price. After all most headlights can be adjusted with a simple screwdriver and does not take much time to adjust headlights.
So please drivers be cognizant of your fellow drivers and dim your headlights when high beams are not necessary.
