Schmit runs fastest indoor 60-meter time in Inland NW
Sandpoint High junior Isaac Schmit recently placed 13th out of 104 runners in the high school division of the 60-meter dash at the Spokane Speed Games held this past Sunday at The Podium. Competing for the Spokane Speed Academy, Schmit posted a time of 7.12 seconds in the event, a new personal record by over one-tenth of a second. That time also happens to be not just the top time for the Academy, but the top time in the entire Inland Northwest currently.
