SCHWEITZER TO SPONSOR CONTEST
When many Rocky mountain and Pacific Northwest ski areas were suffering the no-snow blues, Schweitzer Basin was all systems go on Thanksgiving, and continues daily operation currently with four feet of the incredible white magic. The Basin now is sponsoring a contest for a color photograph best representing Schweitzer Basin. The winning entry will be used for Schweitzer promotions and the winning photographer will win a season pass. Schweitzer will also be offering a “Powder Package” deal. When weather permits, the area will offer rides to Schweitzer’s beautiful North Ridge via Thiokol Snow Cat. Once on top, skiers will be treated to a gourmet lunch with wine, hot cider, bread, cheese and all the trimmings. Then the lucky folks will be able to feed their skiing souls with untracked powder skiing. The cost of the adventure will be $3.00.
