1A D2 DISTRICT 1 GIRLS BASKETBALL: Clark Fork wins another NSL Title

COEUR d’ALENE — Senior Lily Reuter and sophomore Amie Matteson combined for 29 out of the Wampus Cats’ 47 points as Clark Fork cruised to another 1A D2 North Star League District Title on Wednesday night at North Idaho College.
After leading by just eight points at halftime, the Wampus Cats outscored the Tigers 16-5 in the third quarter en route to victory.
Matteson scored 15, Reuter 14 for Clark Fork. Hannah Thompson added eight while Eloise Shelton pitched in with five points of her own.
Clark Fork (7-10, 3-0) will head to McCall High on Saturday for a state play-in game against the winner of District 5/6's Rockland/North Gem.
