Carol Gass, 68

Carol Lee Gass, born Jan. 19, 1956, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2024.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Shaun D. Gass; her children, Shane J. Gass (Ashley), Daniel J. Gass (Jessica), Mary P. Owens (Curtis), and Jennifer D. Gass (Brandon); and her grandchildren, Deanna, Randall, Sebastian, Lucas, Hailey, Justin, Alyssa, Sean, Benjamin, Ryker, and Aberdeen.

Carol graduated from Sandpoint High School, attended Boise Bible College, and graduated from North Idaho College with an associates degree in registered nursing.

She married her husband Feb. 19, 1977, and went on to have four beautiful children. She was active in the community, participating in church choir, dance classes, theater, and Girl Scouts.

Carol found fulfillment in being a nurse and loved taking care of people. Carol loved her family and friends fiercely, supporting their goals and dreams. Her life was a testament to her faith, love, and service. She touched countless lives with her compassionate care.

Carol’s spirit was as radiant as her voice, as she found joy in singing hymns, dancing with grace, and praising the Lord with all her heart. Her unwavering faith was a guiding light for all who knew her, and her kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

Though she may no longer be with us in body, Carol’s legacy of love, faith, and compassion will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May she rest in eternal peace, singing and dancing in the presence of the Lord.
