There is a lot of misinformation surrounding audit

I'm writing to address the misinformation about the forensic audit that is circulating in the local papers. 

The public needs to know that the audit is still ongoing, and in no presentation has the auditor said monies have been spent inappropriately. He has asked for help for clarification on who the vendors are and check numbers, etc. Never once did he say anyone stole money or used it wrongly. He is still just gathering information. 

This in no way hinders our ability to consider running a school levy in May.
