Donald Howard Harms, 53
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald Howard Harms, a beloved son, brother, and friend. Donald passed away Feb. 22, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of laughter and kindness.
Born on Nov. 7, 1970, in Libby, Mont., Donald was the son of Howard and Darlene Harms. He grew up surrounded by love and laughter, sharing many fond memories of a family game nights, attending church and outdoor activities.
Donald was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboy and LA Lakers, his passion for the teams evident in his unwavering support through wins and losses. He enjoyed gathering with friends to watch games, cheering on his favorite players with enthusiasm and pride. He never forgot a player or a statistic through decades of being the No. 1 Cowboys and Lakers fan.
In his leisure time, Donald found joy in shopping at Costco, where he delighted in discovering new products and stocking up on essentials. Donald loved spending days at Starbucks drinking coffee with the many friends that he made over the years with the same love of Starbucks.
A movie enthusiast, Donald had an extensive collection of films and enjoyed spending hours watching his favorite classics or the latest blockbusters. He found solace and entertainment in the world of cinema, creating countless memories that will be cherished by those who knew him. Donald enjoyed going to concerts of almost any type of music and testing his luck with the slot machines at the casino.
Donald will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him in particular his devoted and loving Mother.
A memorial will be held at First Lutheran Church in Sandpoint, Idaho, on March 2, 2024, at 1 p.m.
