Priest Lake free ski and snowshoe day Jan. 6

PRIEST LAKE — Priest Lake State Park and the Priest River Nordic Ski Club are once again hosting their annual free ski and snowshoe day on Jan. 6.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., enjoy free cross-country ski lessons as well as a guided snowshoe hike through the state park, enjoying the wildlife and scenery of Priest Lake. Skis and snowshoes are available to those who don’t have their own, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own if they want.

Hot coffee will be served to help keep guests warm all day long.
