Old-time January Jam set for Saturday

The District 1A chapter of the Idaho Old-Time Fiddlers Association will kick off a new year of music with an acoustic jam session Saturday, Jan. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The jam session will be held at the Sandpoint Senior Center, 820 Main St.

The chapter, which serves music lovers in Bonner and Boundary counties, has attracted an enthusiastic roster of fiddlers, guitarists, banjo players, mandolins, concertinas, ukulele, harmonicas, and a string bass player together to play old-time music for any and all who want to come and listen.

Acoustic musicians who want to take part are invited to join the fun and players of all levels are absolutely welcome and encouraged. The event is free and open to the public. Please note the new, winter hours: 2-4 p.m.
