Marilyn Thompson, 95

Marilyn Leone Thompson, 95, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, in Sandpoint, Idaho. 

Marilyn was born Dec. 4, 1928, in Jewell, Iowa, to Victor and Ava Thompson. Marilyn went to California State University and earned her bachelor of arts degree and master's degree, and later attended the University of Southern California and earned another master’s degree in 1959. 

Marilyn worked as a librarian for Stanford University, the Veteran’s Administration as a special services librarian. She was an avid reader, researcher, writer, and had her own personal library. 

Marilyn is survived by a niece and nephew and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.
