Community's support made for merry Christmas

On behalf of the foster care community in North Idaho, I want to express my sincerest gratitude to our community for the support you have shown this holiday season. The giving tree hosted by the Community Resource Envision Center was a huge success. Our giving tree at Sandpoint Cinemas also did very well this year. Our foster families were so incredibly grateful for the beautiful gifts that were donated for their foster children. Hugs were shared and tears were shed as families who came to pick up their gifts were overwhelmed with emotions.

I also want to thank our partners in this endeavor. Thank you to Lindsay Morgan of Fosterful for helping with coordinating wish lists. Thank you to Katie, Angella, and all the staff at the Community Resource Envision Center for coordinating the Festival of Trees and the giving tree. Thank you to Eric at Sandpoint Cinemas for allowing us to host a giving tree at the theater year after year.

We truly couldn’t do this without the support of this fabulous community. So once again, thank you. Have a happy and blessed new year.
