Libraries hosting bracelet class
Looking for something fun to do the next couple of Saturdays?
West Bonner Libraries has just the thing.
At 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Blanchard Library, 412 Railroad Ave.; and at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Priest River Library, a fun bracelet-making class is planned.
Used for centuries, beaded necklaces and bracelets have helped focus meditation and prayer practices across many cultures. They have been known to aid in memory retention, mental focus and clarity, and anxiety reduction as well as promoting better quality sleep.
In this class, participants will be making Mala style bracelets using wood and stone beads.
There is no cost for the class, and all materials will be provided. Space is limited, so registration is required.
