KRFY adds 'Medical Musings' to lineup
Starting February 5, Dr. JoAnn Rohyans will be joining the KRFY Community Radio lineup with “Medical Musings with Dr. JoAnn”. The program will air at 8 a.m., the first Monday of every month with a re-broad cast at 8 a.m. each third Monday.
88.5 KRFY Community Radio for North Idaho is pleased to announce a new program.
Starting Feb. 5, “Medical Musings with Dr. JoAnn” will air at 8 a.m., the first Monday of every month with a re-broad cast at 8 a.m. each third Monday. The show will feature important and timely medical news and information along with interviews with local medical experts.
Dr. JoAnn Rohyans is a retired pediatrician who has lived in Sandpoint since 2010. She worked in a pediatric practice in Columbus, Ohio, for over 30 years and then covered at Sandpoint Pediatrics substituting for the physicians as needed. Dr. Rohyans served as a media spokesperson for the Central Ohio Pediatric Society, the Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the national American Academy of Pediatrics.
In this position, she contributed to print and online media, radio and television.
Tune in to 88.5 KRFY at 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5. This first show will feature Heart Health with cardiologist Dr. Ronald Jenkins, as February is American Heart Month, and a representative from Pediatric Dentistry as February is also Children’s Dental Health Month.
