This week’s Athlete of the Week is Bella Danish of the Sandpoint Little League’s 12U All-Star softball team.
Bella, pictured left with catcher Delaney Montgomery, pitched a three-inning perfect game in a 15-0 win over Post Falls during the Idaho District 1 Little League playoffs. Bella recorded all nine outs by striking out every batter. She also went 4-for-6 at the plate with two doubles and four RBIs during the team’s three tournament games.
