Coffee in the Garden kicks off Thursday

If you are looking for coffee, tea, treats — and good conversation — look no further than Create Art Center on Thursdays this summer as the facility welcomes a variety of artists to demonstrate their talents.

The Coffee in the Garden program begins Thursday, July 11. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to noon.

Schedule:

• July 11 — Julie Jené, fun with clay

• July 18 — Linda Cassella and friends, ukuleles and guitars

• July 25 — Anna Taylor, introduction to Tai Chi

• Aug. 1 — Jean Wakeley, painting rocks

• Aug 8 — Pend Oreille Fiber Arts, spinners of fleece, knitters

• Aug. 15 — to be determined

• Aug. 22 — Carl Kostoff, edible weeds in the garden
