NHC hosting free sports physicals clinic

NEWPORT — Free sports physicals will be offered at Newport Health Center on Friday, July 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. No appointment is necessary, but a parent or guardian must be present to provide consent. 

The health center is located behind Newport Community Hospital, 221 N. Cass Ave.

This clinic is for sports physicals only; all other health concerns will require another appointment. 

Participants should wear loose-fitting clothing such as T-shirts and shorts. Free physicals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Later sports physicals may be scheduled for a fee of $30.
