Scott Herndon was beaten by deceit, lies

| July 11, 2024 1:00 AM

In response to Cis Gors' letter (Daily Bee, June 30), I have the following response:

You stated:  "If she decides to do this, I hope she will give the true party that those voters were before they held their noses and became Republican for the day. Because. if I am correct. you will find that maybe, maybe, there will be 10% Democrats. The rest of the 90% will be unaffiliated voters."

I find it laughable that a liberal prints this kind of thing without verifying any information. No, Cis, you are not correct. These are the numbers:

2022: 290 registered Democrats changed their party affiliation from Democrat to Republican, so they could vote in the Republican Primary.

2024: 279 registered Democrats changed their party affiliation from Democrat to Republican, so they could vote in the Republican Primary.

2024: 946 unaffiliated voters changed to the Republican Party so they could vote a Republican ticket in the primary.

By my math that is 1,515 voters now voting Republican. Of these, 569 for sure did this to vote for RINO Jim Woodward. If only half of the unaffiliated selected the Republican ticket, that is 473 unaffiliated liberals who chose the Republican Party ticket to vote for Jim Woodward.

This is how Scott Herndon was beaten. By lies. I was a poll watcher in my precinct and saw voter after voter saying gleefully they were only going to be Republican "for a day."

Liberals who change their party affiliation to Republican don't change back to the Democrat party. Why would they? They can vote Democrat no matter what their "affiliation."
