EMS responds to injury accident Sunday

BLANCHARD — A multi-vehicle accident Sunday resulted in several people being flown by medical helicopter to the hospital.
The collision involving several motorcycles was reported at about 11:45 a.m. in the 4000 block of Dufort Road. Upon arrival, Bonner County EMS officials reported on the agency's Facebook page that multiple patients were found with traumatic injuries.
LifeFlight responded with two helicopters to transport patients with critical traumatic injuries. BCEMS responded with three ALS ambulances along with a paramedic/supervisor and paramedic/chief.
There are no updates on the age or gender of the patients or their current condition.
