Bizarre Bazaar announces moving sale
No one likes to move.
Think back to the last time you packed your possessions and moved. If you're like many, you might still be opening boxes you brought to Sandpoint. It can be overwhelming to touch every item you own and make decisions to keep, sell or toss something.
Community Assistance League volunteers at Bizarre Bazaar, Sandpoint’s upscale resale shop, are doing just that every day in anticipation of moving to the organization's new location at 114 S. Boyer Ave. To minimize the number of boxes and vehicles it takes to make the move, CAL has decided to offer customers some great bargains.
Beginning Thursday, July 25, almost everything at Bizarre Bazaar will be 30% off. However, jewelry is not included in this sale.
"Consider it our great big estate sale," said CAL's Sue Sayer.
Residents can visit CAL's current location, 520 Church St., while they are touring Sandpoint before Thursday’s opening night of the Festival at Sandpoint. New merchandise will be displayed daily so come back often.
CAL is a nearly 50-year-old organization dedicated to improving the lives of Bonner County residents through philanthropy. Although personal monetary donations are always welcome, the bulk of the money that CAL gives back to the community comes from proceeds from the upscale resale shop. Since 2006, CAL has gifted more than $2.3 million in grants and scholarships to date.
