Priest River youth football to hold golf fundraiser
PRIEST RIVER — Priest River Junior Tackle Football will hold a golf scramble tournament on Sunday, July 28, to raise funds for equipment, player scholarships, and referee/field fees.
The event will be held at Priest Lake Golf Course and four-person teams will tee off at 1 p.m.
The tournament will include two Callaway golf bags complete with golf balls, tees, a golf rag and a hat as “closest to the pin” prizes. The prize for the longest putt is a “stay and play” package at Priest Lake Golf Course.
Participants can sign up for the tournament by calling the course clubhouse at 208-443-2525. The cost to enter is $100 per person.
Priest River Junior Tackle Football organizes football for kids in grades 3-6. The organization is not associated with the West Bonner County School District; the event is not a part of the district’s fundraising efforts.
