Healey resigns from Panida board
SANDPOINT — The Panida Theater has announced the resignation of long-time volunteer and board member Jim Healey.
Healey volunteered at the Panida for 15 years, serving in multiple roles from serving guests to organizing and ordering inventory for the concession stand and bar. On the board, he held numerous positions including board chair treasurer, and served on the hiring, volunteer, finance, film, governance and Panida Centennial Celebration committees.
Healey said his greatest achievement was forming the cleaning crew, an "amazing team of volunteers" that keeps the theater sparkling for events. His accomplishments are long and varied, including organizing open houses, running the ice cream booth, organizing food drives, grant writing, and helping arrange a five-figure donation.
"Jim will be missed but The Panida wishes him success and fulfillment in spending more time on personal endeavors and vacations," a theater statement said. "Thank you for your time Jim. We are forever grateful."
