The construction of the travesty at Travers Park

I am appalled by the monstrosity allowed to be constructed at Travers Park! The people responsible for the ugly warehouse that has taken away the playground for the kiddos, a safe field to watch baseball games and parking spots should be ashamed of themselves.

You have turned a beautiful park into a place we no longer wish to go. The folks who live near the park now have a view of huge dark blue walls; no more trees. I have talked to a couple of pickleball players and they too are dismayed by what you have built for them.

To begin with, an apology to your community is in order. Reparations need to be made and quickly. I wish county folks could vote on city issues.
