Marceen Kay Williams, 71

Marceen Kay Williams, 71, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. 

She was born Nov. 25, 1952, to Wayne and Betty Hawkins in Sandpoint, Idaho. Marceen graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1971.

She married Michael Williams on Sept. 8, 1973. They were blessed to be married for over 50 years together. Before starting a family, she enjoyed working as a hairdresser. Marceen dedicated herself to caring for her two children, Shawn and Brandi, and her husband, Mike. As her children grew older, she enjoyed playing golf with her husband and friends, and won several amateur golf tournaments. She also enjoyed bowling, fishing, snowmobiling, and traveling the Pacific Northwest with her husband. Marceen was a kind, nurturing wife and mother, and "Nanny" to her grandchildren. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed. 

Survivors include her two children, Shawn Williams of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Brandi Cessna of Hayden, Idaho; four grandchildren, Jaizee, Logan, Brooke, and Nicholas; two brothers, Kim and Randy Hawkins; and one sister Gail Kalben of Sagle, Idaho.

No memorial service or gathering will occur per Marceen’s wishes. Instead, let us celebrate her life by cherishing the moments we shared with her.
