STATE TIMBER SALE CR100499, PEAKABOU PULP A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 4053 Cavanaugh Bay Road, Coolin, ID at 9:00 a.m. local time, on Thursday, July 11, 2024 for an estimated 5,435 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Idaho Department of Lands, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $46,175.30 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $461,753.00. The successful bidder’s deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract. The State will not accept bids from parties who are delinquent on payments on existing state contracts. SUMMARY OF CITY OF SANDPOINT ORDINANCE NO. 1420 Off-Leash Dogs at City Beach for Waterfowl Control AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANDPOINT, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AMENDING SANDPOINT CITY CODE TITLE 7, CHAPTER 5, SECTION 3-A, BEACH RULES AND REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Following is a summary of the provisions of Ordinance No. 1420. Ordinance Section 1 amends Sandpoint City Code Title 7, Chapter 5, Section 3-A to add an exception to the prohibition of dogs at City Beach, permitting off-leash dogs for waterfowl control as part of City-sanctioned groups under certain conditions and a permit issued by the City. Following is a summary of the provisions of Ordinance No. 1421. Ordinance Section 1 amends Sandpoint City Code Title 5, Chapter 4, Section 5-A-3, to add an exception to the City’s dog leash law, providing for dogs off-leash in designated areas on public property under certain conditions, including times, locations, and any additional rules or regulations, established and posted by the City, and by possession of an off-leash permit issued by the City.
