PAFE gearing up for gala fundraiser

SANDPOINT — The Panhandle Alliance for Education, a local nonprofit that supports public education, is gearing up for its annual summer fundraising gala.

The gala, to be held Saturday, July 20, provides significant support for all of its annual programs, which include early childhood literacy, annual teacher grants, and Lake Pend Oreille School District strategic initiatives. PAFE is grateful to have recently received a $3,000 grant for its Ready to Read first-grade reading program from the Idaho Future Fund, which is administered by the Idaho Community Foundation.
