A better race would be Trump, Clinton

| June 25, 2024 1:00 AM

President Joe Biden’s health is clearly failing. There’s no way he can serve another four years. That’s why we have the 25th Amendment, but if it were invoked Kamala Harris would become the POTUS. God help us. Meanwhile, we’re stuck with a senile old man at the helm with a ditz as a copilot, hoping another 9/11 won’t happen on their watch.

If the Democrats want to win, they’ll replace Kamala Harris with Hillary Clinton as the vice-presidential candidate at their convention in August, making the presidential election essentially between former President Trump and Hillary, because everyone except Biden would know that if Biden won he would be removed from office shortly after he was sworn in by employing the 25th Amendment, and that Hillary would become the POTUS. Hillary would normally never stoop to being a vice president, but she would if she knew it would be temporary.

Trump is leading in the polls, but don’t count the Democrats out. They’re experts at springing well-timed hoaxes, and are no-doubt preparing a doozy. Leftist pundits are already unhinged, claiming Trump will lock them up if he wins, and may even confiscate their kale and arugula. I will vote for Trump, but if the Democrats win I’d rather have Hillary emerge as president than Biden or Harris. I don’t relish the thought of Nurse Ratched screeching at us for four years (maybe eight), but the country can’t afford to keep Biden or Harris in office for one day after Jan. 20, 2025.
