Douglas, Turner named city's top citizens
PRIEST RIVER — Dana Douglas and Candy Turner have been named as Priest River's Citizens of the Year.
"We are thrilled to honor two incredible women whose tireless dedication and passion have profoundly impacted our community," Priest River Chamber of Commerce officials said.
Chamber officials said the pair were selected for the honor due to their efforts and inspirational leadership over the past year, calling it pivotal in preserving and revitalizing education in the West Bonner County School District.
"Their pride in Priest River inspired many to help support our kids and schools," chamber officials said. "They poured their hearts and souls into this cause, enlisting family and friends, dedicating countless hours, and utilizing their resources to raise awareness and support for the district."
