Accident closes U.S. 95 near Naples

The Boundary County Sheriff's Office is advising U.S. 95 is closed near Schoolhouse Road in Naples due to what the department is referring to as a "major accident."

The highway is expected to be closed for an indefinite amount of time due to the accident which is blocking at least a portion of the roadway.

The number of vehicles, or whether there are any injuries, is not yet known. However, first responders are on the scene. Drivers can expect delays and, if possible, are asked to please avoid the area.
