Steven George Ducommun, 73

Steven George Ducommun, 73, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private family services are pending and will be held at a later date.

Steven was born Nov. 15, 1950, in Long Beach, Calif., the son of Erwin and Lisalote Ducommun.

For those who knew him, you’ll remember his passionate spirit and strong opinions. As a teen he was into motorcross, bike racing and later auto painting, starting his career at Vosek Polak. He was a volunteer fireman in Laytonville, Calif., and later got involved with the North Idaho Boxer Rescue after moving to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

He is survived by his 100-year-old mother, Lilo Ducommun; Joan Sims of Laytonville, Calif.; and Linda Baker of Santa Rosa, Calif.
