County employees thanked for service
Thirty-one Bonner County employees were recognized last week for their years of service to the county.
SANDPOINT — Bonner County held an employee appreciation breakfast Thursday to recognize 31 employees who have collectively worked for the county for decades. The employees were treated to breakfast at the Ponderay Events Center and received a certificate of appreciation as well as a longevity pin representing their years of service.
In 2024, Bonner County had 12 employees who have worked for the county for 10 years; five employees who reached 15 years; nine employees who have worked here for 20 years; three employees who have been here for 25 years; one employee who has been here 30 years; and one employee who has worked for Bonner County for 40 years.
“I have worked with these employees for five plus years and am very proud of them and the job they do,” said Commissioner Steve Bradshaw. “I count it an honor.”
