Gilbert 'Chuck' Humphries, 61

On Feb. 6, 2024, Gilbert "Chuck" Charles Humphries passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Spokane, Wash., after a long battle with cancer. 

He was born in Sandpoint on Oct. 4, 1963, to Donna and William "Bill" Humphries. As an adult, he moved to Tacoma, Wash., where he met his wife Candace, whom he married in 1994. They moved back to Sandpoint, where they raised their three daughters. 

If Chuck wasn't out riding his Harley, you could often find him watching the Seahawks game and grilling his favorite steak, spending time outdoors fishing and camping or simply just being with his grandchildren.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Candace; his three daughters, Echo (Brandon), Kelsy, and Marisa (William); his father, Bill; his brother, Danny; his sister, Lisa; his stepfather, Gilbert; seven grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was loved by many and will be truly missed. 

A memorial service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
