Sandpoint Little League to host umpire clinic

Sandpoint Little League will be hosting a clinic for aspiring umpires at the Sandpoint Nazarene Church on Sunday, March 24, at 3 p.m. 

Anyone interested in learning is welcome to attend the clinic, which is free of charge. At the clinic, attendees will brush up on specific rules regarding baseball and softball with several other SLL and district-wide umpires. This is a great job for high school students and adults alike who have a knowledge of the games and rules of baseball and softball ... it is also a great way to give back to the local youth sports community and puts some extra cash in your pocket. The umpiring season runs mid-April through mid-June and scheduling is flexible.
