SANDPOINT — There are only three and a half weeks left to enjoy the late-coming powder on Schweitzer Mountain.

The runs have been hit with over six new feet of snow in the past month and with the hill’s “Buy Now, Ride Now” policy, those who missed out on buying a 2023/24 season pass can still enjoy the rest of this year’s season with the purchase of a Spring Fling pass. This pass allows unlimited access to the mountain until it closes for the season. Outdoor recreationalists who buy a 2024/25 season pass will also be allowed unlimited access to the runs for the rest of the season.

“Instead of hanging it up early, come hang with us as we shred until our legs give out,” staff said. “It's not over until it's over.”

Schweitzer plans to keep all its lifts running until its official closing date of April 14. Until then, everyone is encouraged to get some runs in with what many are calling the best conditions of the entire season.
