Herndon supports children, families, and parents’ rights

I saw Idaho Senate candidate Jim Woodward at the school board meeting. He’s rewarding his Democrat supporters for their support. They say he’s for schools, but he voted for allowing high school boys to compete in girls’ sports and use their locker rooms (Leg. Session 2020, H500). He opposed in-person instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic (2021, H293) and opposed a bill that required parental "opt-in" for K-12 explicit sexual instruction (2021, H249). How is that supporting our schools, parents, and girls? Worse, he voted to conserve "Common Core" standards in Idaho education (Administrative Rules Docket 08-0000-1900/2020). These include the math standards that have resulted in high school students having an average sixth-grade math skill level.

Here's how Idaho Sen. Scott Herndon has voted:

HB 71 (2023) Prevents doctors in Idaho from performing transgender surgery on children or giving them cross-sex hormones that can cause cancer and permanently sterilize them.

S1245 (2024) Was a leader in opposition to the bill written by Bayer/Monsanto, that would have given Bayer immunity to any harm done to Idaho residents by its deadly weed-killer, Round-up.

HB 498 (2024) Co-wrote the bill that passed unanimously in the House and Senate, requiring age-verification filters on pornography sites.

HB 521 (2024) debated and voted FOR the school facilities and tax relief bill, which passed the Senate on March 21.

One of these candidates supports children, the family, and parents’ rights. Jim Woodward seeks votes from the Democrats. Scott Herndon is a true Republican and he is in the Senate serving you.
