COLLEGE NOTEBOOK: Hathaway, Davis win 400 hurdles at Linfield Open

Clark Fork alumni Sara Hathaway beat eight other runners to take first in the 400-meter hurdles (1:05.33) at the Linfield Open held Saturday at the Track at Maxwell Field.
Lewis-Clark State will be back in action at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships May 10-11 set to be held at Oregon Tech University. Hathaway is seeded fourth in the 400-meter hurdles and 12th in the 100-meter hurdles heading into the championship.
TJ Davis, Eastern Oregon University Track & Field
Sandpoint’s TJ Davis was first out of 13 in the 400-meter hurdles (54.33) and first out of 11 in the 110-meter hurdles (14.99) at the Lindfield Open on Saturday.
Eastern Oregon will also compete at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships this weekend. Davis is seeded first in the 110-meter hurdles and fifth in the 400-meter hurdles.
Other athletes competing in conference championships:
— Rusty Lee (Eastern Washington) is seeded 12th in the 400-meter hurdles heading into the Big Sky Conference Championships this weekend.
— Teagun Holycross (Montana University) is seeded 17th in the 100-meter dash, 20th in 200-meter dash, and is a part of the Grizzlies' 4x100 relay team which is seeded fifth heading into the Big Sky Conference Championships.
— Connor Alexander (Lewis-Clark State) is seeded 12th in the 10,000-meter run heading into the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships.
— Abigail Gorton (Lewis-Clark State) will compete in the 10,000-meter run at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships, which is unseeded.
