4A DISTRICT 1-2 TENNIS: Sandpoint more than ready for finals

MOSCOW — Going into the final day of the 4A Inland Empire League district championship, all 18 of Sandpoint’s players are still alive in the double elimination tournament.

In girls singles, Sandpoint’s Pepper Rickert and Neva Reseska will face off against each other in the finals. Similarly, in boys singles, Jacob Dawson will face Matthew Norton in the finals.

Sandpoint's Ethan Ballard and Nathan Duke (boys doubles), Brennan Johnson and Ellie Tutin (mixed doubles), and Aubrey Knowles/Sydney Webb (girls doubles) all qualified for the finals as well.

Finals are Saturday at Moscow High.
