Festival seeks production crew, volunteers

The Festival at Sandpoint is seeking summer production crew members and volunteers for its 2024 summer series.

“We are incredibly grateful to have such a supportive community that volunteers their time and effort year after year,” Festival executive director Ali Baranski said. “An annual event as large as the Festival at Sandpoint Summer Series would not be possible without the outstanding team of over 600 volunteers who donate more than 10,000 hours each year.”

For those looking for the skill-building of an internship with a shorter commitment, joining the 2024 paid production crew delivers an adventure-packed summer gig filled with fun, fast-paced work, Baranski said.

It's a great opportunity to gain hands-on music industry experience and become an integral part of making the Festival at Sandpoint’s summer series happen, she added.

Baranski said that from July 19 to Aug. 7, production crew members help build the venue and assist in venue operations during the annual event. During the concert series, production team members are involved with multiple departments at the venue including but not limited to security, hospitality, green team, information technology, sound, and lighting.

In addition to production crew members, the Festival at Sandpoint is also seeking volunteers for the 2024 summer performance series.

Volunteer departments include admissions, box office, green team, merchandise, production, and more. Becoming a volunteer is a great way to be part of the excitement of the Festival while also giving back to a nonprofit and the community.
