Keep conservative values in mind while voting

| May 16, 2024 1:00 AM

This primary election might seem complex at first because there are lots of interests out there that are looking to confuse the Republican voter. But if you’re a conservative voter like me, it really just boils down to looking at what needs changing and what doesn’t.

We already have one of the most effective conservative state Senators in the nation, so we need to re-elect Scott Herndon.

Mark Sauter has a voting record that would make a Democrat proud, so that needs changing. Heather Scott encouraged Jane Sauter to run for her old seat, so Jane’s our top choice for LD1A.

No matter what you thought of Sage Dixon, he’s not running.  Luckily, those of us who have been here a while know that Cornel Rasor is conservative, fair-minded, and as honest as they come. Easy choice.

The Bonner County Commissioners' Office is a mess, so change is needed. Ron Korn is independent-minded, a champion of liberty and limited government, and wants to bring back public comment. Check.

The Bonner County Republican Central Committee is already conservative, so to keep it that way, go to bonnervotes.org for precinct committee representative choices.

So, it really can be easy.
