ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Ani Vick, Sandpoint Track & Field

This week's athlete of the week is Ani Vick of Sandpoint Track & Field.

Ani, a sophomore, set new personal bests in both the 100 hurdles (15.53) and the 300 hurdles (46.60) in her first 4A state championship appearance. She finished fourth in the 100 hurdles and third in the 300 hurdles, breaking a 43-year standing school record in the process. Since last season, she has improved her time by over two seconds in both events.
