Studio 1 announces upcoming performance

Studio 1 Dance Academy is hosting its end-of-the-year performance early next month.
The performance will showcase local students' dancing as well as feature great music, Studio 1's Laurie Buck said.
"(It will feature) many of our favorite oldies from the era of the silver screen, including music from musicals, and our favorite classics," she added.
There will be two performances at the June 5 event, one at 5:30 p.m. and a second at 7 p.m. Both will be held at the Panida Theater, 300 N. First Ave.
At 5:30 p.m., "Anything Goes" leads off the event, featuring young dancers performances. At 7 p.m., the event will feature "Dances of the Silver Screen."
