ALL-CONFERENCE BOYS LACROSSE: Six Bulldogs capture IHSLL North honors

Blayne Kanning (Attack)

A senior, Blayne scored a team-high 38 goals and dished out a team-high 15 assists this season. During the IHSLL North playoffs, he scored five goals against both Coeur d’Alene and Spokane Valley, leading the Bulldogs to upset victories and a state championship berth. He also scored four goals in games against Logos, Coeur d’Alene, and Immaculate Conception Academy. Blayne was also second on the team in groundballs with 69.

Kostas Bauck (Midfield)

A senior, Kostas was second for the Bulldogs in both goals (19), assists (10), and face-off wins (20). In a win over Immaculate Conception Academy, he had a season-high three goals and three assists. Over the course of the season, he had multi-goal efforts in six games.

Sawyer Treadaway (Defense)

A senior, Sawyer led Sandpoint with 73 ground balls this season. He also added seven assists and five goals to the stat sheet this season, two of those goals came against Pocatello in the IHSLL State championship tournament. He recorded a season-high eight groundballs against both Mead and Spokane Valley.

Wylie Wimmer (Midfield)

A junior, Wylie led the Bulldogs in face-off wins with 54 this season, 10 of which came during a win against Immaculate Conception Academy. Over the course of the season, he also added six goals and four assists to go along with 54 groundballs.

Hayden Sisk (Defense)

A senior, Hayden played an instrumental role in shutting down opponents on the defense end this season. He picked up 41 groundballs in total this season, six each in games against Logos and Pocatello.

Ryan Doko (Goalie)

A senior, Ryan picked up 330 saves this season and a .663 save percentage across 15 games. During the IHSLL state championship, Ryan had a career-high 49 saves after facing a total of 65 shots on goal. In eight games this season, he had more than 20 saves. His most notable outings came in regular season games against Mead (34 saves), Pocatello (31 saves), and Lake City (26 saves).
