AARP Idaho hosting town hall with Little
AARP Idaho is inviting Idahoans to join Governor Brad Little for a statewide telephone town meeting Wednesday, May 29, from noon to 1 p.m. Mountain Time. The conversation with Little and AARP Idaho state director Lupe Wissel will focus on the recent legislative session and other topics important to Idahoans and their families.
“As Idaho’s 65-plus population continues to increase, legislative issues continue to impact older Idahoans in a profound way and this most recent legislative session was no different,” Wissel said. “This call will be a great opportunity to speak directly with Governor Little about property taxes, health care access, housing, transportation and other important issues affecting Idahoans."
The town hall is being conducted in an interactive forum and participants are encouraged to call and speak directly with Little. Questions may also be submitted ahead of time via email at aarpid@aarp.org.
The conversation begins at noon Mountain Time, on Wednesday, May 29. Participants can join by dialing toll-free 866-767-0637 or by listening to the live stream on the AARP Idaho Facebook page at facebook.com/AARPIdaho.
This call is available for anyone regardless of AARP membership.
