Burgess-Duquette, Sedbrook ink college commitments

Full caption (Photo 1): Priest River girls soccer players Rebecca Sedbrook, left, and Marley Burgess-Duquette, right, both signed to play to collegiate soccer recently. Sedbrook, a defender, is off to Viterbo University (NAIA) in La Crosse, Wisc. She compiled 88 steals over nine games during her senior season. She also finished fifth in the shot put at the 2A state track & field meet this year.

Pictured alongside Marley is WVC head coach Pablo Rodriguez Jorge. Back row, from left, are Jeremy Burgess (father), Mckinley Burgess-Duquette (sister), and Trinity Duquette (mother). During her senior season, Marley scored 10 goals and dished out two assists to receive 3A All-Intermountain League honors. Her most notable outings came in wins over Grangeville and Newport, where she scored two goals each. Marley was also a two-time 2A state qualifier in the pole vault and played small forward for the varsity basketball team during her time at Priest River.
