ALL-CIL VOLLEYBALL: Humphrey, Marinello, Storro tabbed with honors

ALL-LEAGUE: Desi Humphrey

A senior outside hitter, Desi has competed for the Lady Spartans' varsity squad for the last three years. During the 2024 season, she posted multiple games with double-digit kills and digs. Some of her more impressive performances included registering 15 kills in a season-opening 3-1 win over Timberlake and 36 digs in a five-set win over Orofino. In the 3A Central Idaho League district tournament, she posted a team-high eight kills in a win over St. Maries and nine in a win against Kellogg to lead Priest River back to the title match.

ALL-LEAGUE: Jayda Storro

A junior setter, in her second year at the varsity level, Jayda eclipsed 30 assists in a game four different times and had another handful of games over the 20-assist mark this season. She recorded a team-high 34 assists in a five-set win over Orofino and in the season opener against Timberlake, served to a season-high seven aces. In wins over St. Maries and Kellogg at the 3A CIL district tournament, she led the team in assists with 16 and 10, respectively. In that game against the Lady Lumberjacks, she also registered six aces — her sixth game of the season with six or more aces.

ALL-LEAGUE: Toni Marienllo

A junior libero and defensive specialist in her second year at the varsity level, Toni had eight games where she posted 20 digs or more this season. She dug out a team-high 42 balls in a five-set win over Orofino, 30 in a five-set loss to Grangeville, and 29 in a crucial five-set regular season win over St. Maries. In the Lady Spartans' opening round 3A CIL district tournament win over St. Maries, Toni led the way on the defensive end with a team-high 13 digs.
