SANDPOINT — Senior Demi Driggs posted a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds, both career-highs, and the Lady Bulldogs pulled away late to take home a 62-48 win over the host Lady Trojans on Tuesday.

Sandpoint High head coach Will Love said his team struggled a bit out of the gate in what was a back-and-forth battle in the first half.

"I thought Demi Driggs did a tremendous job leading us through that time when we were still feeling out Post Falls — she had some big buckets," coach Love said.

The Lady Bulldogs had a double-digit lead multiple different times throughout the game, but the Lady Trojans managed to cut the deficit, eventually trailing by just one in the second half before sophomore Jordyn Tomco, who had eight points, worked her magic in the fourth quarter.

"Jordyn hit two huge three's in the last two minutes to help secure the win for us," coach Love said. "Really excited for the kids to get a win today and now we have two weeks off to prepare for Moscow. We'll work hard to get ready for that league game."

Sophomore Brecken Mire had 16 points, sophomore Livia Driggs 11, and sisters Chloe and Carly Laybourne five each for Sandpoint (2-0), which will look to keep things rolling when they travel to Moscow on Dec. 3.
