Winter weather advisory issued

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory that will be in effect from midnight Tuesday, Nov. 19 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20.

The advisory covers the northern panhandle and northeast mountains and said to expect 3 to 6 inches of snow in valleys and 6 to 12 inches in the mountains.

The advisory said the conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes and encouraged drivers to slow down and use caution while traveling.
