Innovia Foundation announces scholarship awards

A number of Bonner County and area students were among those who recently received scholarships through the Innovia Foundation.

The foundation awarded $339,888 in scholarships to students throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho for the 2024-2025 school year. Innovia manages over 30 scholarship programs on behalf of donors who have established funds to help students achieve their higher education goals. 

“As a community foundation, Innovia is deeply committed to empowering the next generation through education,” said Shelly O’Quinn, CEO of Innovia Foundation. “It is a privilege to join our dedicated donors in supporting students as they embark on their journey toward higher education and career success.”

Aaron Wilcox of Sandpoint will attend Boise State University. He received the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,150.

Amari Printz-Hay of Sandpoint will attend Eastern Washington University. She received the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $1,000.

Bethany Holderman of Clark Fork will attend North Idaho College. She received the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $1,000.

Billie Servis of Clark Fork will attend Moody Aviation. They received the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $1,000.

Brady Packer of Sandpoint will attend Boise State University. He received the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,150.

Dillon Ryan-Downing of Clark Fork, will attend Eastern Washington University. He received two scholarships totaling $2,650: the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,150 and the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $1,500.

Elaina Kiebert of Hope will attend the University of Idaho. She received two scholarships totaling $2,150: the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,150 and the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $1,000.

Elliott Lowman of Sandpoint will attend Wake Forest University. He received the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,150.

Eloise Shelton of Clark Fork will attend North Idaho College. She received three scholarships totaling $4,650: the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,150, the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $500 and the Idaho Panhandle Dental Society Scholarship for $3,000.

Emele Dillon of Sandpoint will attend Grand Canyon University. She received three scholarships totaling $6,150: the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,150, the Lucille I. Hudon Scholarship for $3,000 and the Newport Priest River Rotary Scholarship for $2,000.

Emily Myers of Hope will attend North Idaho College. She received the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $1,000.

Emmalia Bilaski of Newport, Wash., will attend Washington State University. She received two scholarships totaling $4,500: the Diamond Lake Ranch Scholarship for $2,500 and the Newport Priest River Rotary Scholarship for $2,000.

Emmie Sue Stoffels of Clark Fork will attend the University of Idaho. She received the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $1,000.

Lance Hendricks of Sagle will attend Northeastern University. He received the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,150.

Luke Butler of Priest Lake will attend Pacific Lutheran University. He received the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,150.

McKenna Kozeluh of Blanchard will attend the University of Idaho. She received the Newport Priest River Rotary Scholarship for $2,000.

Ryan Matteson of Clark Fork will attend the University of Idaho. He received two scholarships totaling $5,500: the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,500 and the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $4,000.

Trinity Swales of Clark Fork will attend the University of Idaho. She received two scholarships totaling $3,500: the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $2,000 and the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,500.

Wyatt Mintken of Clark Fork, Idaho, will attend Spokane Community College. He received two scholarships totaling $6,500: the Doris L. Kenney Memorial Scholarship for $1,500 and the Hoyt & Edith Schuyler Scholarship for $5,000.
