ALL-NSL FOOTBALL: Montgomery, Cruz receive honors

ALL-LEAGUE: Evrett Montgomery

A senior who is looking to become the first Wampus Cat to play collegiately since 2006, Evrett played primarily at wide receiver this year but also at running back and as a linebacker on defense. Overall, he had 843 total yards — 504 receiving and 339 rushing — and had 10 total touchdowns... four rushing, five receiving, and one kickoff return for a touchdown... all across the span of five and a half games. On defense, he also contributed 47 total tackles.

ALL-LEAGUE: Mateo Cruz

A sophomore quarterback, Mateo racked up 1,031 total yards — 779 passing and 252 rushing — and passed for six touchdowns and ran for two in his first season under center... all across the span of five and a half games. On defense, he also contributed 47 tackles.
