Sandpoint leaf pickup extended

SANDPOINT — The City of Sandpoint announced it will extend its free leaf pickup service through Friday, Nov. 22. 

Since Nov. 11, city crews have been collecting unbagged leaves piled in the street next to the curbline for disposal. 

After Friday, property owners will be responsible for disposing of any remaining leaves. Bagged leaves and sticks or branches will not be collected.
